Lantau Peak is located in Lantau Island, it literally means “phoenix mountain” in Chinese. Lantau Peak is the second-highest summit at 934m in Hong Kong. It is a wonderful place to catch the sunrise and the sea of clouds at the top of Lantau Peak.

The trail upward Lantau Peak is partly steep and strength-demanding.
It is recommended to bring along with enough food and water. Most of the trail is without sunshade.
The trail downward Ngong Ping is steep. It is recommended to bring along with trekking pole.
For sunrise hiking, the top of Lantau Peak is usually windy and with extremely low temperature. It is recommended to bring along with enough warm clothes.
