Bamford Edge is a gritstone ridge located within the Peak District National Park in central England, just north of Hope Valley in Derbyshire. From the top, visitors can enjoy views of Win Hill and Ladybower Reservoir, making it one of the Peak District’s most popular hiking spots.

Newton Road
- For Drivers︰Use the A57 and turn onto the A6013 at Ladybower Reservoir to access New Road. You can park your car along the road.
- From Manchester︰From Manchester Piccadilly Station, take the Northern Railway towards Sheffield and get off at Bamford Station. Then transfer to bus route 257b and get off at Lydgate Lane stop, followed by a 15-minute walk to the starting point.
- From Sheffield︰Take bus route 257b from Pond Street and get off at Lydgate Lane stop, then walk around 15 minutes to the starting point.
