Mam Tor is located in the Peak District in Derbyshire, England, with an elevation of 517 metres. Its name means ‘Mother Hill,’ and it is one of the most popular hiking destinations in central England. To the west, Mam Tor extends into Rushup Edge, while its northeastern ridge continues towards the peaks of Back Tor and Lose Hill.
